One of entertainments most prominent couples have decided to split ways. Popular hip-hop rapper Cardi-B has finally decided to end things with her husband Off-set. She filed a divorce in Georgia yesterday to bring an end to what would be three years of marriage.
The 27-year-old rapper took to her Instagram page to announce their divorce as her husband was cheating on her again. According to legal records verified by E! News, Cardi, and her legal team have deemed her marriage “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for reconciliation”. The Grammy winner has met a lot of pitfalls in her marriage but history shows she has tried to do her part to keep the family together.
Back in December 2019, Cardi came out on social media saying the couple were calling the marriage quits after she found out that Off-set was cheating. After publicly announcing his apology to his fans he also asked Cardi for forgiveness on stage in front of a live audience. Some fans felt this was simply emotional blackmail but Cardi-B took to her husband’s defense and explained that the marriage deserved a second chance; if not for them but for their 2-year-old daughter they named “Kulture”.
When history repeated itself Off-set couldn’t emotionally blackmail his way through this one and fans will have to say goodbye to what has been described as a real power couple of the entertainment industry.
