The current trend on social media is the reaction celebrities have made towards the tragic events that occurred this past week. In the past few days, celebrities like Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Gifty Powers have had to redact some of their insensitive comments about the lives lost at the Lagos Lekki Toll gate. The riots carried out by angry citizens of Nigeria have also drawn the attention of entertainers.
Ifedayo Olarinde also known as Daddy Freeze, is current talk of the town. The radio personality went on his insstagram page to advice fellow Nigerians to invest wisely. The popular clout chaser wrote “The best investment in life is not buying property or starting a business don’t let motivational speakers fvck with your mind… The best investment is lifting the poor out of poverty.. Your houses and businesses could be destroyed in seconds if you don’t invest in uplifting the youths around you from poverty! Secure your future, don’t invest in businesses or property or your children alone, Invest in the youths around you”
It wouldn’t be a classic Daddy Freeze scenario if there were no comments by fans. @mojayzone said “Bros stop this fallacious motivational talk. How can u invest in pple when u haven’t invested in yourself. Pls folks, invest in yourself first, make enough money before you can start to lift others. Dont mind Freeze on this one. This is pure fallacy from the pit of hell!!!”
Daddy Freeze is at the heart of another controversy. It seems like the man is simply obsessed with clout chasing. From attacking the views of Nigerian pastors to asking citizens to pull out of their investments in properties and focus on the youth,.
