Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, has been the talk of the town lately. The iconic music sensation has been accused of taking all the credit for some of his big hits. Normally as the star of the show, you would ask if there is anything wrong with that. But some fans feel there is some misrepresentation going on with Burna’s brand.

On tuesday the 12th of January, @ObongRoviel  told the twitter community that Burna Boy used song writers for his songs “Dangote” and “Pull up”.

He wrote “I bet you didn’t know Yonda wrote Dangote And Peruzzi wrote Pull up“. He also used the opportunity to ask Burna fans to do their due diligence on their faves. He said ” Maybe when these artists start giving credits you will know the truth about your Faves“.

Burna Boy immediately denied it with a subtle response saying
“who wrote for who?”

The questions remain, is our random clout chaser telling the truth? Is there actually misrepresentation on Burna’s part.

It’s no secret that artist collaborate with other song writers. Whether they give credit or not is based on the contract agreed in the first place. Legendary musicians like Snoop Dog ,Dr Dre, among others, use song writers.
