A lot of Davido fans were wandering when he would release the official video for his hit single “The Best”. His song features Mayorkun. It was one the most listened to in 2020.
The Fem crooner and the Mayor of Lagos did wonders with with the audio and now the fans finally have their fill as the official video was released on Thursday, the 28th of January by exactly 5pm.
Davido went on his Instagram page the day before to announce the estimated release date along with some words of wisdom. He said
“The Best” they say is relative. They say we should all regard ourselves as ‘The Best’ in order for us to believe sufficiently in ourselves. Others say you’re arrogant when you proclaim yourself the best. While some of us are just happy to be able to produce some that others call ‘THE BEST’. A really inspiring message to the fans. The video lays emphasis on this self-realization message as the set has a martial arts theme. The videos potrays Mayorkun coming to fight for Davido’s daughters hand in marriage. Davido sees his potential and trains him to believe in himself, making him victorious at the duel.
