Early Life
Ruth Kadiri was born on 24 March 1988 in Benin City, Edo State, in southern Nigeria. She is the first of two children born to Desmond Kadiri. Ruth pursued her education in Mass Communication at the University of Lagos and later studied Business Administration at Yaba College of Technology.
Career
Ruth Kadiri began her Nollywood journey with the film Boys Cot and has since featured in over fifty movies. As a talented screenwriter, she has written and co-written several productions including Matters Arising, Heart of a Fighter, Ladies Men, Sincerity, First Class, and Over the Edge.
In addition to writing, Ruth has also taken on production roles, delivering films such as Matters Arising, Over the Edge, Somebody Lied, and Memory Lane, which explores themes of deception and betrayal.
In addition to her film career, Ruth is the founder of the Ruth Kadiri Kids Foundation, which aims to empower underprivileged children through education and mentorship.
She married her partner in a private ceremony in 2018 and welcomed their first child in August 2019 and their second in July 2022.
As of 2025, Ruth Kadiri is 37 years old and continues to be an influential figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
