Ayomiku, daughter of Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to her stepfather, Soji Alabi, after her private wedding last week. This comes despite past tensions with her biological father, who publicly accused Tope Alabi in 2020 of preventing him from having access to their daughter for 22 years.
Throughout this time, Ayomiku has consistently referred to Soji Alabi as the father figure she holds dear. On March 17, 2025, she shared an emotional tribute to him, praising his unwavering love and support throughout her life.
In her touching message, Ayomiku acknowledged the profound influence Soji has had on her, describing him as a true father and highlighting how his love has been a constant source of strength. She shared that writing the tribute brought her to tears, as she found it difficult to express just how deeply his love has impacted her life.
Ayomiku poured out her heart, saying, “A father indeed! A man truly after my heart A man whose love has been my pillar. I’m writing this with tears because I can’t even begin to explain how much he loves me. I love you with every part of me.”
She went on to express gratitude to Soji for always being there for her, from her childhood to the moment he gave her away in marriage to her husband, Olu. Ayomiku also prayed for him, saying, “May you reap the rewards of all your sacrifices. I love you, OLUSOJI MI OWON. Thank you for being the best father.”
