WurlD Unveils “Metal Hearts” Tracklist and Cover Art Ahead of Release
Acclaimed Nigerian-American Afrosoul artist WurlD has officially revealed the tracklist and cover art for his upcoming project, “Metal Hearts.” Set for release on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the announcement has sent waves of excitement through his ever-growing fanbase.
The project features eight tracks, each crafted with WurlD’s signature “electro-fusion” style — a seamless blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and electronic soundscapes. Notable collaborations include Tanzanian artist Marioo on “Lighter” and Echolocation on “Faya.”
A Symbolic Cover Art with Deep Cultural Resonance
Alongside the tracklist, WurlD also shared the project’s captivating cover art — a sculptural depiction of himself cast in a blue-green patina, reminiscent of aged bronze. The visual symbolizes emotional strength, endurance, and resilience, themes deeply embedded in the album’s core message.

The artwork also includes subtle nods to Benin City and WurlD’s “AC” logo, blending ancient artistic references with modern design elements. It’s a reflection of his dual identity — rooted in Nigerian tradition yet globally connected.
A New Chapter in WurlD’s Evolving Sound
Known for his bold storytelling and genre-defying style, WurlD has consistently pushed musical boundaries with previous projects like “I Love Girls With Trobul” (with Sarz) and standout singles such as “Show You Off.” With “Metal Hearts,” he appears poised to deliver one of his most personal and innovative projects to date.
