Speroach Beatz, born Prosper Obi, is a Nigerian musician, songwriter, and record producer best known for producing Davido’s hit single ‘Assurance.’

Born on October 26, 1989, in Gboko, Benue State, Speroach Beatz began playing the drums at age seven and the keyboard at eleven, both within his father’s church, an environment that surrounded him with musicians from an early age. At around 20, he moved into music production in Abuja, training under producer VC Perez to learn the fundamentals of the craft.

His younger brother, following in the footsteps of their older sibling GospelOnDeBeatz, an established award-winning Nigerian record producer, Speroach Beatz continued honing his skills by working alongside his brother until he had fully mastered production.

Speroach Beatz went on to build a catalogue of hit records beyond ‘Assurance,’ including 2Baba’s ‘Amaka’ featuring Peruzzi and Mayorkun’s ‘Betty Butter’ featuring Davido, establishing himself as a dependable hitmaker within Davido’s broader camp of collaborators.

Based in Abuja, Speroach Beatz continues to work across the Nigerian mainstream, with a production style informed by his early musical grounding in church and years of tutelage under both VC Perez and his own brother.
