KDDO, born Ayoola Oladapo Agboola and formerly known as Kiddominant, is a Nigerian DJ, record producer, songwriter, and artist best known for producing and co-writing Chris Brown’s ‘Under the Influence,’ which topped the Billboard Rhythmic chart and reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Born on July 13, 1992, in Lagos, KDDO began his music career in 2011, building a production catalogue that would eventually cross over from the Nigerian mainstream into major international placements, a rare feat among his generation of producers.
His songwriting and production credits extend beyond Chris Brown to work across Afrobeats and global pop, reflecting a career built on adapting his sound to different markets while maintaining his own artistic voice as a DJ and performer in his own right.
KDDO is signed to Pentlife Music, with additional publishing ties to Sony Music Publishing and Sony ATV, alongside a relationship with Bamboo Artists, positioning him within both the Nigerian industry and the broader international music business infrastructure.
Beyond his hit with Chris Brown, KDDO has continued to build a body of work as a global DJ and producer, representing part of a wave of Nigerian hitmakers whose reach now extends well beyond the Afrobeats scene into mainstream American R&B and pop production.
