Early Life
Ayobami Emmanuel Alli-Hakeem, known professionally as Anendlessocean, was born in 1996 in Lagos, Nigeria. His father is from Ondo State, and his mother is from Edo State, making him of Yoruba and Edo descent. He spent most of his formative years in Abuja, Nigeria, until his mother’s untimely passing when he was just 14 years old. This significant event profoundly impacted him, shaping much of his personal and artistic journey. Despite the challenges, he pursued his education with determination, completing his studies at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Engineering.
Career
Anendlessocean’s musical journey began at a young age when his passion for gospel music was nurtured in church choirs and local music groups. He officially embarked on his music career in 2018 with his debut single, “Falala,” showcasing his unique style and vocal prowess. In 2020, he released “Alakori,” which significantly boosted his popularity and marked his rise to stardom. In 2021, he released his debut EP, Apeirogon, which quickly garnered massive streams, exceeding 100,000 across various streaming platforms. The EP’s lead single, “Alakori Remix” featuring Waje, further solidified his presence in the gospel music scene.
Continuing his upward trajectory, Anendlessocean released his first full-length album, Decagon, in 2023. This album is a compilation of entertaining and edifying songs, showcasing his versatility and depth as an artist. Despite the seemingly secular titles of some songs, the underlying messages consistently praise and reflect on the goodness of God. His distinctive delivery and voice have made him a unique and beloved singer in the industry.
Anendlessocean’s ability to blend contemporary sounds with profound spiritual messages has set him apart and endeared him to a growing audience of gospel music enthusiasts.
