Bad Boy Timz His journey began with skits and freestyles that circulated online in 2019. These performances earned him praise from notable industry figures, including J Hus. His rising profile caught the attention of Anonymous Music, which led to a record deal that same year.

Career

Bad Boy Timz burst onto the mainstream with the single “MJ” and followed up with two popular remixes featuring Mayorkun and Teni. His energetic sound and engaging delivery captured fans across the country. His feature on Olamide’s hit “Loading” from the Carpe Diem album further boosted his visibility. His rapid rise culminated in winning Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2020.

In 2020, he also completed a degree in Computer Engineering from the Bells University of Technology, showing his ability to balance academics with his musical ambition.

By May 2021, tensions with his former label, Anonymous Music, led him to take legal action. He publicly shared documents accusing the label of breaching their contract and instigating his wrongful detention. The incident, captured on video, motivated him to cut ties and cancel the contract.

After leaving Anonymous Music, he launched his own label, Shock Absorbers Music, and he also secured a distribution deal with Empire. Bad Boy Timz continues to grow his brand while maintaining creative control over his career.
