Agubosim Favour Brown, widely recognized as Brown Joel, is a dynamic Nigerian singer and songwriter who blends Afrobeats, pop, and R&B into a vibrant, Afro-fusion sound. Born on May 16, 2000, in Imo State, and raised in Lagos, he developed a deep love for music early on, heavily influenced by Nigerian pop icons like Psquare. He recorded his first track at the age of 14, guided and inspired by his mother, a church choir singer.

Brown Joel balanced his education with music, completing his primary and secondary schooling in Lagos and continuing his higher education while building his artistic career. Career

In September 2022, he signed a deal with Musiq Bank Company and released hit singles like “Omo Ologo” and “Peace,” both gaining traction online. “Peace” in particular became a viral sensation, inspiring dance trends and influencer collaborations across TikTok and Instagram.

Brown Joel reached a major milestone with “Ogechi,” a track featuring Boypee and Hyce, later remixed to include superstar Davido. The hit pushed him further into the spotlight, cementing his place among Nigeria’s new wave of Afro-fusion artists.
