Early Life

Born Tony Oke Adebowale, DJ 4kerty hails from Osun State but grew up in Lagos, where he currently lives. He studied Accountancy at Lagos State Polytechnic but found his true calling in music. While in school, his love for sound and rhythm took over, and he began experimenting with mixes and party sets.

Career

DJ 4kerty kicked off his career in Ikorodu, Lagos, in 2013. His breakthrough came with “Again O”, a street anthem featuring Zlatan Ibile and Oladips, produced by Rexxie. The track introduced his energetic blend of Afrobeats and hip-hop to a wider audience.

He solidified his status with popular mixtapes such as the “Zazoo Mixtape” with Portable and the “Alubarika Mixtape” with Zlatan. These compilations showcased not only his skills but also his commitment to promoting rising street talents. His sets mix hype energy with rhythm and raw street vibes, earning him recognition across clubs and online platforms.

Through consistent releases, DJ 4kerty continues to dominate the street-hop DJ scene, using his mixtapes to fuel Nigeria’s vibrant music culture.
