Early Life
Born on December 18, 1989, in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, Emmanuel Iren grew up in Lagos. He attended several schools, including Doregos Private Academy, before earning a degree in Building Technology from Covenant University. He later completed his MBA at the University of Lagos.
Career
Driven by a passion for music and ministry, Emmanuel Iren released his debut album Kerygma in 2017 with the Outburst Music Group. In 2022, he followed up with Apostolos: Sounds of Transition, featuring artists like Sinach, Nosa, and Judikay. His songs such as Overcome, Holy Ghost, and Glory resonate deeply in contemporary worship circles. He has also collaborated with Odunayo Adebayo and others in gospel music.
Iren founded the Triumphal Youth Fellowship at Covenant University, which evolved into Celebration Church International (CCI) in 2012. Today, CCI boasts over 100,000 members with 30 branches across Nigeria, the UK, USA, and Canada. His dynamic preaching and discipleship model have attracted a global audience.
On June 11, 2025, Iren was inaugurated as President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Youth Wing, a role focused on empowering the next generation of Christian leaders.
