Early Life

Ify Nneji was born on 26 March 1983 into a devout Christian family in Anambra State, Nigeria, but she was raised in Kaduna. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, a Master’s in Human Resource Management, and a Doctorate in Public Administration from Enugu State University of Science and Technology. Her upbringing in a religious environment and love for music and ministry shaped her path early in life.

Career

Ify Nneji is a Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter known for her soulful, spirit-filled worship and traditional African rhythm infused with a modern sound. She started her musical journey at a young age, singing at church programs and local events, where her passion for ministering through music became evident.

In February 2023, she also officially launched her professional career with the release of her debut album Spirit Realm. The six-track album, produced by Dr. Finesse, reflects her deep spirituality and desire to create music that inspires and uplifts. Through her songs, Nneji also seeks to connect hearts to God and stir a hunger for His presence. Her sound, which blends traditional African instrumentation with contemporary gospel, is unique and authentic, setting her apart in the Nigerian gospel music scene.
