Jaywon began his educational journey at ECWA Primary School before moving on to Government Secondary School in Kogi State for his secondary education. He later graduated with an HND in Accounting from Federal Polytechnic, Bida.
His career continued to flourish as he won the Best Recording award at The Headies 2013.

In 2005, the singer relocated to Lagos, where he quickly made a name for himself. By 2006, he had secured collaborations with prominent Nigerian artists such as Ray G, Sound Sultan, W4, Slizzy E, and 2baba, marking the beginning of his successful music career.

Career And Achievements
Jaywon gained recognition in 2009 when he performed at the Kennis Music Easter Fiesta, leaving a lasting impression that led to him signing with Kennis Music later that year. In December 2012, his single “Odun Yi (This Year)” gained widespread popularity, earning critical and commercial success. The track caught the attention of PZ Cussons, who later signed him for an endorsement deal, allowing the company to use the song in promotional campaigns.
After leaving Kennis Music, Jaywon released his highly anticipated third album Oba Orin (King of Songs), featuring singles with artists like Vector, Reminisce, and Reekado Banks. The album received positive reviews, with critics praising its blend of sounds and Jaywon’s dedication to his craft. Oba Orin showcased Jaywon’s talent and his contribution to pop music, featuring 21 tracks produced by notable producers like Mr Ejor, Benjossy, and Young Jonn.
In 2020, Jaywon released a 10-track album titled Aje (The Mixtape), which featured collaborations with artists like Zlatan, Lyta, Phyno, and Umu Obiligbo. Jaywon’s impact on the Nigerian music scene continues to grow, and his work resonates with fans worldwide.
