Agbede Ighodaro Precious, popularly known as PaBrymo, was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, and grew up in Benin City, Edo State. His early environment deeply influenced his music, fueling a passion for sound that reflects the energy, rhythm, and cultural identity of his roots. He later relocated to Cape Town, South Africa, where he continues to evolve his style and push the boundaries of African sound.
Career
PaBrymo has carved out a niche in the music industry by fusing Afrobeats, dancehall, and Afrotrap into a bold, rhythmic blend. With hits like “Overload (Kala),” “Unstoppable,” and “Jajo,” he quickly captured listeners’ attention across the globe, amassing over 15 million streams worldwide. His unique vocal delivery and genre-blending sound have earned him comparisons to stars like Burna Boy, J Hus, and Popcaan.
A standout collaborator, PaBrymo teamed up with Teni on the track “1 of 1,” adding another hit to his growing catalog. He further expanded his musical reach with the release of the City Boy EP, which includes features from Odumodublvck, Seyi Vibez, and Kida Kudz. The project offers a vibrant glimpse into Benin City’s street culture while embracing a contemporary, international flair.
