Born Ajala Rihanat on November 23, 2004, in Lagos State, Nigeria, Reehaa discovered her passion for music early in life. Influenced by legendary Nigerian artists like Tope Alabi, Yinka Ayefele, and Simi, she absorbed a deep appreciation for musical storytelling.
Growing up in the vibrant neighborhood of Surulere, she embraced the dynamic cultural blend of Lagos, which helped shape her sound. Reehaa blends Yoruba and Pidgin effortlessly in her lyrics, crafting songs that speak to both traditional and contemporary audiences. Her ability to fuse culture, emotion, and rhythm gives her music a refreshing identity.
Career
Reehaa launched her debut EP, “Vibes for the Soul,” in early 2023. The six-track project reflects her ambitions, inner drive, and voice as a representative of her generation.
