Early Life

The Okan Twins, born Samantha Okan and Casilda Okan, entered the world on August 29, 1998, in London, to Mr. and Mrs. Okanlawon. Popularly known as Sam x Cas, the twins began building their creative foundation early in life. They attended Sanders School in the UK in 2013 and later graduated from Identity Drama School in 2016.

Eager to sharpen their on-screen skills, they completed a Screen Acting course at Fox and Chips Acting School in 2017, laying the groundwork for what would become a vibrant career in the entertainment industry.

Career

The Okan Twins have built a strong presence in film and commercial modeling. They also appeared in the 2015 U.S. movie The Weekend and secured supporting roles in the hit series Silent Witness and the film Bad Education. With their training and on-set experience, they’ve made a mark in TV, film, and commercial productions across the UK, USA, and Nigeria.

Also, Transitioning into music, Sam x Cas bring a refreshing sound to the Afropop scene. As Nigerian-British singer-songwriters and content creators, they also made their musical debut with “Ocean”, a metaphor-rich song about a woman’s pursuit of love. Produced by Kdrama and mixed and mastered by Grammy Award-winning engineer Vtek, “Ocean” showcases their talent and unique sonic identity.

In conclusion, The twins now collaborate with Nigerian creatives across different formats—skits, films, and music videos strengthening their presence in Nigeria’s entertainment hub. With their stunning looks and magnetic stage presence, Sam x Cas are carving out a niche, fusing catchy melodies with emotive lyrics and delivering soothing yet powerful musical waves.
