Magicsticks, also known for the tag “Tune into the King of Sounds and Blues,” is a Nigerian record producer, sound engineer, and DJ.

He gained mainstream recognition when he produced DJ Neptune’s hit “Nobody,” featuring Mr. Eazi and Joeboy, in 2020.

Magicsticks is also widely known for producing all 12 tracks on Asake’s album Mr. Money with the Vibe, which debuted at number 66 on the Billboard 200 chart and appeared in the top charts in 31 countries worldwide, marking it as one of the biggest debuts for an Afrobeats album.

Early Life


Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Magicsticks attended Lagos State Polytechnic. His love for music was sparked by his father, a professional DJ.

Initially, Magicsticks started as a DJ before transitioning to full-time music production. He was also romantically involved with Agatha from Osakwa.

Career and Achievements


Magicsticks gained significant recognition for his contributions to Kizz Daniel’s 2018 album No Bad Songz.

His big break came in 2020 with the production of DJ Neptune’s popular track “Nobody,” featuring Mr. Eazi and Joeboy. In 2022, he formed a successful collaboration with Nigerian artist Asake, producing, mixing, and mastering both his debut EP Ololade and the hit album Mr. Money with the Vibe.

Beyond his work with Asake, Magicsticks has also worked with prominent Nigerian artists such as Young John, Niniola, Olamide, Lil Kesh, and Mr. Eazi.

His contributions to Nigerian music earned him a spot as a top contender for the 2022 Nigerian Producer of the Year, according to Pulse Nigeria.

Magicsticks’ impressive body of work continues to shape the Nigerian music scene, solidifying his place as one of the top producers in the industry.
