Billionaire businessman and philanthropist Dr. Adedeji Adeleke has announced that his family, the Adeleke Family, is preparing to take legal action against controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo. The move follows new allegations involving Davido’s children, which the family describes as a “pattern of defamation, impersonation, and deliberate misinformation.”
The dispute escalated on January 22, 2026, after Olunloyo claimed that the singer’s three-year-old twins are “nonverbal and nonfunctioning.” Reacting to a video from the Adeleke family, Olunloyo alleged the children are autistic and attend a special needs school in Atlanta.
“Want me to post the school name and address? I raised an autistic child. Better go educate yourselves about autism,” she stated.
During an emotional press conference at his Lagos residence on Wednesday, January 21, Dr. Adeleke addressed a separate, long-running paternity claim involving a 12-year-old girl named Anuoluwapo. He revealed that five DNA tests, analyzed in South Africa, returned a “0.00% probability of paternity.”
He accused Olunloyo of impersonating the minor by managing social media accounts in the child’s name to spread false claims.
“I think we have to consider it [suing]. It is getting out of hand,” Dr. Adeleke said.
He added:
“Why will somebody be deliberately maligning a person?”
Dr. Adeleke also dismissed Olunloyo’s claims about his late wife as the talk of a “lunatic.” He disclosed that he had privately supported Anuoluwapo’s family for years without Davido’s knowledge, but insisted that scientific evidence proves his son is not the father.
“The laboratory explained clearly that David was not the father of the child,” he stated.
While the Adeleke family has not yet filed a formal lawsuit, they confirmed that legal proceedings are being considered to address the “sustained defamation” targeting the music superstar and his children.
