Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, has opened up about the reality of life in the spotlight, admitting that adjusting to public expectations hasn’t been easy. As a newly crowned celebrity, Imisi revealed she’s been struggling with one of fame’s most persistent demands maintaining a glamorous appearance.

Speaking during a recent public appearance, the reality star shared that one of her biggest challenges has been the need to wear makeup and keep up with beauty routines for events and public outings.
“I’d say having to put on makeup each time I step out, maybe for an event like this, really isn’t my thing,” she admitted. “I don’t like things on my face, and I even hate hairs on my body.”
Imisi described herself as someone who prefers a simple, natural look and never enjoyed using beauty products or maintaining beauty routines before fame. However, she now finds herself under pressure to always appear polished.
“Honestly, I think I look good without all that, but because of what you’re trying to portray and how people expect you to appear, you’ve got to keep your hair, makeup, and nails done,” she said.
Her honesty sheds light on the unspoken pressures many public figures face especially women in an industry where appearance often overshadows authenticity.
Imisi’s experience highlights the emotional and physical toll fame can bring, particularly around beauty standards.
While she continues to adjust to life as a public figure, her candidness reflects a desire to remain true to herself despite the external pressures of celebrity culture.
