Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, popularly known as Nicki Minaj, welcomed her first child on Wednesday the 30th of September. The Megatron rapper had her first child with her husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty in Los Angeles. Nicki already dropped the news back in July that she was pregnant. The retired artist posted a picture of her exposing a baby bump on her Instagram page.
In the post, Nicki wrote “Love. Marriage Baby carriage. Overflow with excitement& gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes,”. The announcement followed 9 months after the couple became newlyweds back in October 2019. They had a private wedding after less than a year of dating.
Some would say Nicki kept the wedding private because her of husband’s past. That’s right, Kenneth is an ex-convict who served time for manslaughter and the attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl. A couple steaming with controversy.
We can only wish the couple well on their new adventure.
