Early Life
Okolocha Esowese Dike, widely known as Eso Dike, is a Nigerian actor, musician, television personality, lawyer, and media entrepreneur. Born and raised in Nigeria, he pursued his education with a clear focus on excellence. He attended the University of Benin, where he studied Law and earned an LL.B degree. Following this, he enrolled at the Nigerian Law School in Abuja, where he completed his legal training, obtained a B.L, and was officially called to the Nigerian Bar.
Career
After graduating from law school, Eso Dike secured an internship at Spice TV, marking the beginning of his career in the media and entertainment industry. He soon transitioned into acting after several auditions and joined the cast of the long-running Nigerian television series Tinsel in 2016.
Dike gained widespread recognition for his role as Tsola in The Smart Money Woman (2020), and later as Leye in Game On and Malik in Ricordi (2021). His performances in Ijakumo, The Wildflower, and The Stand Up contributed to his success as one of the highest-grossing Nollywood actors in 2022, with box office earnings surpassing ₦300 million.
In addition to acting, Dike has worked as a television host, podcaster, and executive producer. He spent nearly seven years as a presenter for a TV channel, showcasing his versatility as a media professional.
Currently living in Lagos, Dike is an avid sports enthusiast and regularly plays football. He also owns a pet dog named Kobe, who often appears on his social media platforms.
