Early Life

Iretiola Doyle was born on 5 May 1967 in Ondo State, Nigeria. She spent her early childhood in Boston, United States, before returning to Nigeria with her family. She attended Christ’s School in Ado Ekiti. Afterward, she earned a Diploma in Mass Communication and went on to study Theatre Arts at the University of Jos, where she obtained her degree.

Career

Iretiola Doyle has established herself as a multifaceted professional working as a writer, actor, producer, and presenter. She created and hosted her own fashion and lifestyle show, Oge with Iretiola, which ran for ten years. In addition, she anchored several notable television programs such as Morning Ride, Today On STV, and NIMASA This Week on Channels TV.

Her performance as Dr. Elizabeth in the EbonyLife film Fifty earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2016 Africa Movie Academy Awards. She also delivered compelling roles in other films, including The Arbitration, The Wedding Party, Dinner, and Madam President.

On television, she brought life to memorable characters in series such as Fuji House of Commotion, Dowry, and Gidi Up, further showcasing her versatility as an actress.

Iretiola Doyle was married to media personality Patrick Doyle, and together they had six children.
