Early Life

Lizzy Gold was born on October 16, 1987, in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. She belongs to the Urhobo ethnic group and grew up with her four siblings. She graduated from Delta State University with a degree in Information Science. After university, Lizzy pursued acting by attending a three-month course at Emem Isong’s Royal Art Academy in Lagos, where she became a certified professional actress

Career

Her passion for acting began early, but without industry connections, she started her career in modeling. During her university years, Lizzy participated in beauty pageants, becoming the second runner-up in the 2004 Miss DELSU and winning the Miss Delta State title in 2006. She also reached the finals in the 2007 Nigeria’s Most Beautiful Girls Contest.

Lizzy gained significant recognition in Nollywood through her roles in films like Bubemi and The Warri Girl. She further increased her popularity with the movie Just A Night, which highlights the issue of domestic violence. Over a decade in the industry, Lizzy has worked alongside notable Nollywood stars such as Majid Michael, Yvonne Jegede, Femi Jacob, and Nichole Bana. She has also partnered with leading production companies like Solo Amaco.

Today, Lizzy Gold leads her own production company, Lizzy Gold Productions, successfully balancing acting and producing. This career path allows her to support herself and others, creating a comfortable life while contributing to the Nigerian film industry.
