Early Life
Martha Ehinome Orhiere was born on July 4, 1996, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Though her family roots trace back to a local government area in Edo State, she grew up in Ibadan with her siblings. Martha attended Bodija International College for her primary education, where she earned her First School Leaving Certificate. She discovered her passion for acting at age 12 and began participating in stage plays that sharpened her performance skills.
She completed her secondary education at Command Day Secondary School, obtaining her Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). Committed to her dream, Martha pursued Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan, where she majored in Acting and Speech. Her active involvement in campus theatre laid a strong foundation for her future in Nollywood.
Career
Martha Ehinome began her professional acting journey through stage performances during university. Her breakout screen roles came with The Herbert Macaulay Affair, where she portrayed Caroline Pratt, and Dear Bayo, which earned her two nominations at the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.
She has continued to build her acting portfolio with roles in films such as Dwindle, Wo(men) Are Scum, No Longer Broken, and Food, Love or Both. Known for her expressive performances, Martha has worked alongside acclaimed Nollywood talents like Scarlet Gomez, Ray Adeka, Iremide Adeoye, Toluwani George, Ireti Doyle, Chioma Chukwuka, and Chuks Joseph.
Beyond acting, Martha is a skilled cinematographer, graphic designer, content creator, and YouTuber. She thrives in collaborative environments and has a passion for visual storytelling, photography, and creative media.
