Early Life

Born on April 12, 1979, Mide Martins grew up in Nigeria and received her early education at Community Grammar School in Ibadan. She later completed her secondary education at Providence Heights Secondary School in Fagba, Lagos. Following that, she attended Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago Iwoye, where she earned a diploma in International Relations.

Career

Mide Martins launched her acting career in 2002, shortly after the passing of her mother. Though initially hesitant to follow in her mother’s footsteps, she found a passion for performance and quickly made her mark in Nollywood, particularly in Yoruba cinema. Her natural talent and emotional depth allowed her to take on diverse roles, ranging from dramatic to romantic characters.

Over the years, Mide has featured in numerous films and established herself as a strong presence in the industry. In addition to acting, she has built a solid reputation as a film producer. She has worked behind the scenes on several successful movie projects, showcasing her versatility and commitment to storytelling.
