Early Life

Michael Godson Ifeanyichukwu, popularly known as Mike Godson, was born on October 10, 1985, in Kano State, Nigeria. He hails from Imo State in the southeastern region of the country. Mike attended the University of Jos in Plateau State, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in theater and film arts.

Career

Mike Godson started his acting career in 2009 and quickly became recognized for his ability to portray romantic roles in Nollywood. Over the years, he has featured in more than 100 films, sharing the screen with celebrated actors like Pete Edochie, Clem Ohameze, Kenneth Okonkwo, Van Vicker, and John Dumelo.

His breakthrough came in 2015 when he starred in the movie 7 Books of Moses. In 2018, Mike expanded his horizons by signing a deal with a Bollywood production team connected to Zee World.

Alongside his acting career, he ventured into business, investing in an agricultural export company that traded products with Ivory Coast. Despite his successful career, Mike has spoken openly about the challenges of achieving financial security solely through acting. He was honored in 2015 with an appointment as a youth ambassador by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
