Early life
Teniola Aladese was born on September 18, 1993, in Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria. She is the sixth of six children. Teniola studied Mass Communication at Covenant University, Ota, where she developed a strong foundation for her career in TV and film production.
Career
Between 2013 and 2015, Teniola Aladese worked as a production coordinator on over 30 Africa Magic Original Films, sharpening her production skills. She gained widespread recognition starring as Akweyon in the TV series Jemeji, where she also served as production manager.
In 2015, she acted in the film Perfectly Flawed and worked as line producer on Forbidden in 2018. Teniola played the lead role, Lola, in Bunmi Ajakaiyeโs short film Fade, which featured at Nollywood Week in Paris and the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in 2019.
Teniola Aladese also appeared in the short film Her, which tackled menstrual poverty, and starred alongside Ayoola Ayolola and Baaj Adebule in Dรฉjร Vu. Beyond acting, Teniola applies her talents as a casting director and consultant for several productions.
Outside of work, she also enjoys drawing, painting, singing, dancing, and exploring exotic cuisines, which reflect her creative and adventurous spirit.
Teniola Aladese continues to make a significant impact in Nollywood through her multifaceted talents both in front of and behind the camera. Her dedication to storytelling and production excellence has also earned her respect and admiration within the industry.
