Career
Uche Elendu entered Nollywood in 2001, making her debut in the movie Fear of the Unknown. She quickly gained popularity and built a successful career, appearing in numerous films. After getting married, she took a lengthy break from acting, which slowed her momentum in the industry. In 2015, she returned to the screen with a lead role in Ada Mbano, a film that revived her acting career and restored her presence in Nollywood.
She later reflected on the challenges of returning to the industry, crediting Ada Mbano as the project that re-established her career.
In addition to her work on screen, she launched her own online television platform, Elialand, expanding her reach into digital media.
Uche Elendu married Walter Ogochukwu Igweanyimba in January 2012. The couple, now divorced, has two daughters. Elendu has survived several car accidents, one of which left her unconscious, but she continues to stay active and resilient in her personal and professional life.
