This is a hot topic that is really buzzing across social media platforms and various entertainment websites, all seemed to be well and good at the Landmark Event Center, Victoria islands, Lagos where the 2015 Headies took place untill the Next Rated category was given to new Mavin Records signee Reekado Banks. Olamide Simply could not hide his emotions and when he came on stage to support the artist that won the Best Alternative Song category YBNL’s very own Adekunle Gold, Olamide took to the stage and said “the award really belongs to Lil Kesh, because he is our Next Rated…”

It did not stop at that, a clearly drunk Olamide continued to use derogatory words on stage and even pulled out his middle finger, this draws a striking resemblance to Kanye’s Grammy rant early last year.

A disappointed Don Jazzy who later came on stage to collect his Special Recognition Award told Olamide to come and collect the brand new car that is usually given along with the Next Rated award.

Olamide has since apologised to all his fans.
