Portable Slams VeryDarkMan Over Mohbad Case

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has openly criticized controversial activist Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), over his recent comments surrounding the late singer Mohbad. Portable accused VDM of using Mohbad’s tragic death as a tool to fuel personal drama and mislead the Nigerian public.

In a strongly worded statement, Portable labeled VDM a “manipulator” and challenged his motives, questioning how someone who once championed justice for Mohbad could now appear to shift blame and attack others.

“VeryDarkMan, you came out claiming you wanted justice for Mohbad, but now you’re dragging Iyabo Ojo. What exactly is her offense?” Portable asked. “You’re twisting the narrative and confusing Nigerians. You accused people of killing Mohbad and now you’re making a U-turn.”

Portable warned that VDM’s frequent online attacks, especially targeting actress Iyabo Ojo, are derailing the true purpose of the justice movement. He argued that instead of bringing justice for Mohbad, VDM’s actions now appear aimed at stirring chaos and discrediting people who supported the cause from the beginning.

“You’re dragging the dead and turning justice into confusion,” Portable added. “We all know those who truly stood by Mohbad and those who didn’t. Stop trying to decide who’s good or bad Nigerians can see clearly.”

Portable’s reaction adds to the growing tension in the ongoing Mohbad case, where public opinion continues to shift. His call for respect and clarity reinforces the need to focus on justice rather than unnecessary drama or personal agendas.
