Krizbeatz, born Chris Alvin Ifeanyichukwu Sunday, is a Nigerian record producer best known for producing Tekno’s breakout single ‘Pana,’ one of the defining Afrobeats records of the mid-2010s.

Born on December 25, 1994, in Lagos State, Krizbeatz, also nicknamed ‘the drummer boy’ for his early background as a drummer, began his production career in 2015. He quickly built a reputation for crafting rhythmic, hip-hop-inflected Afropop instrumentals that stood out on Nigerian radio and streaming charts.

His defining moment came with Tekno’s ‘Pana,’ a record that became a nationwide anthem and helped cement Krizbeatz’s name as a producer capable of delivering career-defining hits. The success of the record saw him ranked third on Pulse Nigeria’s 2016 list of the country’s top five music producers, an early marker of his growing industry standing.

Krizbeatz went on to build a broad catalogue working with artists including Yemi Alade, Oyibo Rebel, Skales, Lil Kesh, and Koker, while also releasing his own singles as a recording artist in addition to his production work. His sound has remained rooted in energetic, drum-driven Afropop and hip-hop textures.

Beyond production, Krizbeatz founded the Krizbeatz Music Academy, extending his influence into training a new generation of Nigerian producers, reflecting an interest in institution-building alongside his own hit-making career.
