Former Big Brother Naija star Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, urged Nigerians to stop directing all their anger solely at President Bola Tinubu. In a viral video, she reminded citizens that many other leaders across the country share responsibility for governance.

She cited the ₦2.2 trillion recently shared by the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) in August 2025 as an example of how substantial resources are available yet often misused. According to her, Nigerians must understand that governance does not begin and end at the presidency.
She also pointed out that “₦44 billion has been allocated to a local government chairman. Not million billion,” she emphasized. “Watch how they’ll do absolutely nothing with it, because they know Nigerians will come out and blame only Tinubu.”
Tacha also pointed out that most citizens can’t even name their local government chairman, yet expect the president alone to solve nationwide issues. She stressed that real change will only come when Nigerians hold every level of leadership accountable.
“Money has gone to governors, senators, House of Reps members track them. Demand results. Drag them the same way you drag the president,” she said.
She also encouraged citizens to stop ignoring the roles played by regional and local leaders, arguing that ignoring them enables mismanagement and underdevelopment.
Tacha’s bold message highlights a growing concern about selective accountability in Nigeria.
