Early Life
Kayode Ojuolape Jr was born on November 1, 1995, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He spent his early years in Ibadan, where he completed both his primary and secondary education, earning his First School Leaving Certificate and Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE). With a deep interest in storytelling and performance, Kayode pursued higher education in the arts. He graduated from the Department of Theatre Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, in 2020.
Career
Kayode Ojuolape Jr began his acting journey in 2014 at the age of 19 after enrolling in the Royal Arts Academy. He made his screen debut in the 2015 Africa Magic Original film Andrew Files. His dedication and raw talent quickly gained attention within the industry.
He played the lead role of Chinedu, also known as Onyeegwu, in Uche Jomboโs film Onyeegwu, a performance that showcased his range and earned him further acclaim. Kayode rose to national recognition following his standout roles in Jogbon (2023), directed by Kunle Afolayan, and Slum King by Chinenye Chichi Nworah. He also featured in the films Leaked (2022) and Hearts Over Time (2024).
In addition to film, Kayode has remained active in theater, performing in stage plays like Our Family Dinner Party and Dirty Little Secret. His collaborations include work with industry veterans such as Uche Jombo, Ini Edo, Chioma Akpotha, Zubby Michael, Tana Adelana, and more.
Kayode Ojuolape Jr continues to grow as a powerful force in Nollywood. With strong roots in both theater and film, he brings passion, discipline, and depth to every performance.
