Early Life
Bolaji Ogunmola was born on 21 April 1992 in Lagos, Nigeria.She attended primary school in Ebute Metta at Philomena Nursery and Primary School, then moved to Ibadan for her secondary education.
She studied Business Management and Entrepreneurship at the National Open University of Nigeria.She also attended the University of Ilorin, and later trained professionally as an actress at the Royal Arts Academy in Lagos.
Career
Bolaji’s on-screen journey began when she participated in the 2013 Next Movie Star reality show.Her first professional acting role was in the film Okon Goes to School.
Rather than letting people reduce her to her physique, she has said that her feminine form, body language, charisma, and talent all contribute to her strength as an actor.
Her performance in Sobi’s Mystic, where she played a double role (Aida/Mystic), won praise; she was even named one of the five most promising Nollywood actresses by The News Guru.
She called that dual role the most challenging part of her career in an interview, and cited filmmakers like Biodun Stephen, Mo Abudu, and Oprah Winfrey as her inspirations.
Over the years, she has earned at least two nominations at the City People Movie Awards (2018) and emphasized that she is more focused on honing her craft than chasing stardom.
In 2025, she stepped into a new chapter by co-producing the film Gingerrr, taking a major creative role in the project. Through her acting and producing, Bolaji is carving a legacy in Nollywood as someone unafraid to embrace vulnerability, authenticity, and creative ambition.
