Blossom Chukwujekwu is a Nigerian actor widely regarded as one of Nollywood’s most bankable leading men, known for a filmography of over 100 movies spanning romance, drama, and television.

Born Chukwudi Echezona Chukwujekwu on November 4, 1983, in Benin City, Edo State, to Doctor I.E. and Evangelist J.C. Chukwujekwu, he is a native of Otolo, Nnewi North in Anambra State. He earned a BSc in Mass Communication from Benson Idahosa University, where he served as President of the Association of Mass Communication Students and found his breakthrough performing the lead in the university’s most successful stage production, Godless: The Path to Dawn.

Chukwujekwu landed his first lead role in the 2009 soap opera Portrait of Passion, followed that same year by his feature film debut in Private Storm alongside Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Ramsey Nouah. His true breakout came in 2013 with Flower Girl, a romantic comedy that achieved critical and commercial success across Nigeria, Ghana, and the UK, and screened at film festivals in the United States and Canada.

He followed that momentum with Finding Mercy, which closed the African International Film Festival that same year, and Knocking on Heaven’s Door in 2014, a performance that won him Best Actor at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. He went on to headline Nigeria’s first indigenous telenovela, Taste of Love, in 2015, and has continued building a filmography that includes The Visit, A Place Called Happy, and Ghana Must Go.
