Recently evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Bright Morgan, revealed a surprising twist behind his eviction journey. The reality TV star shared that his American girlfriend attempted to remove him from the show by falsely claiming he had a health condition.
According to Bright, she reached out to the show’s organizers while he was still in the house, insisting he was unwell and should be evicted. The organizers, however, followed protocol and contacted Bright’s family using emergency numbers he had provided.
His brother promptly dismissed the claims, assuring them that Bright was in good health. “If I had any health issue, I would have taken a voluntary exit,” Bright clarified during his post-eviction interview on Tuesday.
He added a shocking detail he had never met this girlfriend in person. Their relationship started a few months before the show, and all interactions took place online. “She wasn’t even in Nigeria, but she made several calls,” he said.
The situation raised concerns about trust and the extent to which personal relationships can impact a contestant’s experience in reality TV.
