Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has once again faced a frightening incident in her Lekki residence as the Plaster of Paris (POP) ceiling collapsed for the second time in just two months. The incident occurred on the 20th of october, with the actress narrowly escaping injury.

Nkechi shared a video showing the destruction inside her home, expressing visible frustration and exhaustion. In her reaction, she hinted that this recurring issue might finally push her to leave Lekki for good.
“Lekki, thank you. Another sign to pack my bags and leave,” she stated. “Second time in the space of two months. I might smile on the outside, but deep down, I’m going through a lot.”
This isn’t the first time she’s experienced such a scare. In August, part of her ceiling had previously collapsed near her car. Grateful for her safety, she noted at the time that the damage could have been far worse if the incident had occurred indoors or if her new car had been in the affected spot.
“Come to Lekki, they said,” she wrote, venting her frustration. “Thank God it didn’t fall inside the house or on my car. What would I have said?”
Nkechi also called out property developers in the area, criticizing the poor construction standards that have led to repeated structural failures.
Nkechi Blessing’s experience shines a light on the ongoing safety concerns and construction flaws in parts of Lekki. While she remains thankful for escaping unharmed, the repeated ceiling collapses have clearly shaken her trust in the safety of her home.
