Early Life
Eve Esin was born on 17 October 1986 in Akwa Ibom State, located in the South-South region of Nigeria. She hails from Oron Local Government Area. She completed her primary education in her hometown, where she earned her First School Leaving Certificate. She then attended Immaculate Conception Secondary School in Itak-Ikono, Akwa Ibom, earning her West African Senior School Certificate. She pursued higher education at the University of Calabar, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts.
Career
Before entering Nollywood in 2008, Eve Esin worked as a banker. Her passion for acting eventually led her to leave the banking sector. She successfully auditioned for a film role in 2008, marking the beginning of her professional acting career. Since then, she has appeared in over 100 movies and has built a strong reputation as a dynamic performer in both lead and supporting roles.
Eve made her directorial debut with the film Spirit, further showcasing her range in the film industry. Her commitment to storytelling and film production continues to position her as one of Nollywood’s leading talents.
Eve Esin’s talent has earned her several accolades, including the City People Entertainment Award, AMAA Award, and AMVCA Award. Her work continues to inspire many aspiring actors across Africa.
