Lilian Esoro, born on March 8, 1982, in Lagos, Nigeria, is a Nigerian actress, media personality, businesswoman, and socialite. She gained recognition for her comedic roles in television and film, and in 2013, she earned a nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
Career
Lilian Esoro began her acting career in 2005 when her friend, comedian Bovi, cast her in the soap opera Extended Family. Her breakout role came when she portrayed Nurse Abigail in the popular TV series Clinic Matters, which brought her widespread acclaim and a growing fan base. Her performance showcased her comedic timing and helped establish her as a prominent figure in Nigerian television.
In 2013, Vanguard listed her among the top ten best new actresses in the Nigerian film industry, recognizing her rising influence and acting talent. Over the years, Lilian has continued to expand her brand, not only as an actress but also as a media personality and businesswoman.
Lilian grew up in Lagos State, where she spent most of her formative years. She later studied Political Science at the University of Abuja, where she balanced academics with her passion for the arts. In November 2015, she married music executive Ubi Franklin. The marriage ended in divorce in January 2020.
