Nigerian Afrobeats icon Tiwa Savage has revealed that she intentionally embraced celibacy for the past three years. Speaking openly during a recent interview, Tiwa explained that she hasn’t engaged in any sexual relationships since her last breakup, which happened three years ago.
She made it clear that she only desires intimacy when she’s in love, and without that emotional connection, physical attraction holds little interest for her.
“I’ve stayed three years without sex,” Tiwa stated confidently. “I don’t really crave it. I need to be in love before I even feel that kind of urge.”
She also noted that she hasn’t explored alternatives such as sex toys. While speaking candidly, she laughed and suggested that maybe it’s time to consider them.
“I don’t even own sex toys. Maybe I should. Maybe someone needs to get me some for Christmas,” she joked.
