Nigerian music star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, is once again making headlines—this time for defending his vacation vibes.
The Unavailable singer has been posting photos and videos from his getaway in Ibiza, where he’s enjoying time with his 30BG crew.
But not everyone was impressed. A critic on X (formerly Twitter) took aim at Davido’s Instagram Stories, writing:
“His IG story is a mess. Who’s he trying to impress or show his doings?”
Known for not backing down, Davido fired back with a sharp response:
“It’s called a ‘holiday’ but you wouldn’t know shit about that.”
The exchange quickly went viral, sparking fan reactions across social platforms.
Some defended Davido’s right to enjoy and share his downtime. Others debated whether celebrities overshare their private lives online.
Davido’s clapback adds to his reputation for being unfiltered and unapologetically himself, especially when facing critics.
As one of Afrobeats’ biggest global ambassadors, Davido remains a major topic—on and off the stage.
