Starboii NG has teamed up with Pala Boii on “RAYUWA,” released on April 6 and now featuring on Spotify’s Top Hausa 100 playlist.

The title translates as life, and the record sits alongside “Aimuna Aure” as a second playlist entry for Starboii NG this year.

Pairing an established name with a lesser-known collaborator has become a common route to visibility in the scene, giving both artists access to the other’s audience.

The Arewa scene has leaned harder into streaming through 2026, with newer acts building audiences on playlists rather than through the Kannywood soundtrack route that carried earlier generations.

Similar pairings have worked well elsewhere on the playlist, from Arewa Last King and Raheemz to Abdul Hassan and Jamila Sadi.
