OG Abbah is a Nigerian singer and songwriter from Northern Nigeria who has drawn national attention for blending Hausa-language lyrics with Afrobeats and Afro-fusion production. His breakout single, Wayyo Allah Na, became a viral hit in 2025 that spread far beyond his regional base, introducing many Nigerians to a distinctly Northern sound rooted in faith, struggle, and hope.

OG Abbah's music leans heavily on Hausa cultural identity, notably the Kalangu talking drum, which anchors his tracks in Arewa tradition even as the production incorporates modern Afrobeats elements. Rather than adapting his sound to fit mainstream trends, he has built his identity around staying true to his Hausa roots, a choice that has become central to his appeal.

His debut album, North Vibez, released in October 2024, featured ten tracks that introduced his style to a wider audience beyond Northern Nigeria. He has since released the follow-up Wayyo Allah Na II, featuring collaborations with Zerrydl and Magnito, further expanding his cross-regional reach.

Beyond music, OG Abbah serves as an ambassador for Nigeria's National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons. As an independent artist without a long-term label deal, he represents a new wave of Northern Nigerian musicians reshaping the sound and reach of the country's music industry.
