Early Life
Lilian Nneka Nneji, popularly known as Lilian Nneji, is a gospel singer who hails from Imo State, Nigeria. Born on July 18, 1980, she is the fifth of six children in her family.
Her roots and early experiences have clearly influenced her music and ministry.
Career
Lilian Nneji is a vibrant praise leader known for her uplifting songs about working with God and living in holiness. Her debut album, Anointed Praise (Praise Medley), was released in 2011 and demonstrates her deep commitment to singing from the heart while delivering the message of the Holy Spirit to the Church. Over time, she rose to fame through popular gospel songs such as “E get Why,” “Mercy Odogwu n’agha,” “Ko Joo,” and “Ntughari,” among others.
Renowned for her energetic vocals and evocative Igbo songs, Lilian also serves as the lead singer in The Redeemed Christian Church of God National Mass Choir. Consequently, she has performed at numerous RCCG events and other religious organizations, including the Reinhard Bonnke Farewell Crusade.
In addition to her singing career, Lilian is a strong advocate of holy living and a zealous teacher of the Word of God. She currently serves as the Music Director and Worship Director of RCCG Lagos Region 2. Moreover, she leads the ‘Anointed Praise Groups,’ which perform music at weddings, birthday celebrations, and other events.
In 2020, Lilian partnered with AllBaze Media to further evangelism through the initiative called The Right Path. Additionally, she is the CEO of Lilian Nneji Global Ltd, a company offering sound, recording, video, photography, Master of Ceremony, and live performance services for various events.
Lilian is married to Joshua Nneji, who serves as a parish pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
