Segun Solomon Shodade, professionally known as Shoday, was born in 1999 and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He grew up immersed in the bustling energy of the city, which later influenced his artistic direction.

Before entering the music industry, Shoday gained popularity as a content creator and skit maker, using digital platforms to showcase his creativity. He holds a National Diploma in Building Technology from Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH).
