UK-based Nigerian pastor, Tobi Adegboyega, has provided a heartfelt update on his health journey after undergoing cancer surgery. The founder of SPAC Nation Church recently shared that he has completed the surgical stage of his treatment and is now preparing to begin chemotherapy.

Speaking in a video message, Adegboyega opened up about the emotional and physical challenges that came with his diagnosis. He acknowledged that accepting the reality of cancer was difficult, but he chose to confront the situation head-on, with strength and clarity.
“This is proof of life. I’m alive and I’m recovering,” he said. “I’ve gone through the surgery, and now the next step is chemotherapy. When you tell people in Nigeria something like this, they often say, ‘It’s not your portion in Jesus’ name.’ But this was my portion, and I faced it like a man should.”
Adegboyega’s words reflect not only resilience but also a desire to shift perspectives around health and vulnerability—particularly within Nigerian communities, where discussions about illness often carry stigma or denial.
Despite the challenges, the pastor remains optimistic and focused on completing his treatment. His transparency has inspired many of his followers, who have rallied around him with messages of support and prayers.
Tobi Adegboyega continues to emphasize the importance of facing life’s battles with courage and honesty, using his experience to encourage others who may be dealing with similar struggles.
Tobi Adegboyega’s openness and strength offer a powerful reminder that faith and courage can coexist with life’s most difficult moments.
