Nigerian singer Qdot has spoken publicly for the first time since surviving a violent armed robbery at his home. The music star, whose real name is Fakoya Qudus Oluwadamilare, was reportedly attacked in the early hours of September 28, 2025, around 2 a.m., alongside his personal DJ.
According to the singer, the robbers carted away all of his valuables, leaving him shaken and traumatized. In a heartfelt message shared on his Instagram story, Qdot described the incident as the scariest experience of his life. He revealed that he feared for his life during the attack but expressed gratitude to God for sparing him.
“I didn’t know if I would make it out alive. It was the most terrifying experience of my life. They took everything valuable I owned, but they did not take my life. For that, I am deeply grateful,” he wrote.
Qdot admitted that the ordeal has left him traumatized but emphasized that he is safe and surrounded by love and support as he begins the healing process. He assured his fans that he will recover from the experience and return stronger.
“I’m okay and safe now. I’m surrounded by love and support as I begin the long road to healing from this nightmare. Your support means more than words can express. I love you all. I will be back stronger and wiser,” he added.
The incident has drawn reactions from fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, many of whom have expressed shock and sympathy. Several fellow artists have taken to social media to show support, urging him to take time to heal from the trauma.
